Professional advice on how to deal with lasik eye

There are no limits on medications, eating, or drinking before your LASIK treatment, so you may go about your business as normal. It is important to take a light breakfast before the treatment in order to prevent coming on an empty stomach. Because the procedure room may be cool, dress comfortably, including a sweater or hoodie.

You should remove all eye makeup and avoid touching your face one week before your lasik eye treatment. No cologne, perfume, hairspray, or other odors should be worn on the day of operation. You may be asked to wash your face with a light soap before entering the laser chamber.

Soft contact lenses must be removed at least one week prior to surgery if you wear them. Gas permeable lenses should be removed three weeks before surgery.

Because you will be unable to drive after the procedure, private transportation should be arranged ahead of time. Please inform Drs. Alsheikh or Terry at least 48 hours in advance if you need transportation assistance.

Eye drops will be used to the eye being operated on at regular intervals while preparing for the lasik eye operation. You can do that by taking some fruits and reducing some foods that contribute to excess weight in the body. On that note, you can visit a nutritionist to help you out. The nutritionist will tell you some food you need to take and some food you need to abstain from. Knowing that being overweight can affect the flow of air in the body is reasonable.  
  2. Do exercise regularly: Doing exercise is a perfect way to prevent sleep apnea. By doing exercise, the fat that can block the airways are burned. You can register yourself in a gym and make sure you exercise regularly. It is expedient for people with a high level of cholesterol to engage themselves in doing exercise regularly.
